Project Description
Wollaston Church of the Nazarene in Quincy, MA partnered with Audiobahn to modernize its worship technology through a comprehensive, multi-phase renovation of the sanctuary’s audio, lighting, and livestream systems. Rather than replacing individual pieces of equipment, the goal was to create an integrated technology platform that would support contemporary worship while providing room for future growth.
The project began with a complete redesign of the church’s audio system, replacing aging infrastructure with an Allen & Heath digital mixing platform, new stage connectivity, personal monitor mixing, and a professionally designed JBL loudspeaker system that delivers clear, consistent coverage throughout the sanctuary. New subwoofers, integrated beneath the stage, provide impactful low-frequency performance while remaining completely hidden from view.
As the church’s ministry continued to grow, Audiobahn upgraded the sanctuary’s lighting with a modern LED system capable of supporting both traditional services and contemporary worship. The broadcast system was also modernized with new Blackmagic Design production equipment, creating a streamlined, volunteer-friendly workflow for weekly livestreams while building upon the church’s existing camera infrastructure.
Today, Wollaston Church of the Nazarene enjoys a fully integrated worship technology system that allows volunteers to operate with confidence, musicians to perform more comfortably, and the congregation to experience clear audio, dynamic lighting, and professional-quality livestreams every week. By designing with the future in mind, Audiobahn created a flexible technology platform that will continue serving the church’s ministry for years to come.
