Winchester First Church of the Nazarene
Audiobahn upgraded the audio system at Winchester Church of the Nazarene with a modern digital mixing platform, reliable wireless microphones, organized stage patching, and a full-range loudspeaker system. These improvements were designed to make weekly services clearer, easier to run, and more consistent for both staff and volunteers.
Winchester Church of the Nazarene worked with Audiobahn to modernize their audio system with the goal of improving clarity, simplifying operation, and reducing technical stress on volunteers. Churches often rely on rotating teams with varying experience levels, so this upgrade focused on creating a system that sounds excellent while remaining intuitive and dependable week after week.
At the center of the system is a new Allen & Heath SQ-5 digital mixing console, chosen for its balance of powerful audio processing and approachable workflow. This platform allows the church to maintain consistent sound quality across services, store scenes for quick recalls, and adapt easily to different worship teams or events. We configured the console to support simple operation without sacrificing flexibility, making it easier for volunteers to succeed.
Wireless microphone reliability is critical in worship environments, so we installed new Sennheiser digital wireless microphones to improve clarity, RF stability, and overall confidence during services. Digital wireless reduces interference issues common in crowded RF environments, helping ensure that pastors and worship leaders are heard clearly without distractions.
